Hunter's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse October 28, 2023

October's Full Moon is known as the Hunters Moon. This moon prompts us to get ready for the coming winter. Animals begin to migrate or prepare for hibernation. For humans it’s hunting season.  

This Full Moon is also a partial lunar eclipse. A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Earth is positioned between the Sun and the Moon. The Earth casts a shadow across the surface of a full moon. This celestial event creates space for us to encounter our shadow selves. Our shadow self are the parts of ourselves that are difficult to accept. This can refer to personal thoughts, emotions or personality traits. This will be our final eclipse of the year. 

Spiritually eclipse season ushers in BIG change. These portals aid us in getting us to where we are meant to be. Each Lunar Eclipse connects us to a larger influence of the past and future. Lunar eclipses highlight emotional cycles that have run their course. Like every full moon we are encouraged to leg of anything that no longer serves us. Eclipses bring change, go with the flow and trust in this redirection! 

This Full Moon falls in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. Taurus is all about earthly needs; possessions, property, cash, etc. Now is a great time for financial planning or turning a corner financially! Do you have an unhealthy relationship with money? (Don’t worry, many of us do!) It is a great time to reassess. Think about savings & your income vs spending habits.    

Scorpio brings in lots of transformation, death and rebirth. It may be a bumpy ride as we recognize what isn’t working for us anymore. There may be a sense of new realizations or desires to move through this discomfort. Know that deep emotional healing is possible. 

This is an important time for reflection, forgiveness and letting go. Follow your dreams!
