It’s the last Full Moon of the astrological year!
March’s Full Moon goes by the name Worm Moon. Originally it referred to the appearance of earthworms in the spring soil. According to the Almanac, research has found in the 1760s, Captain Jonathan Carver visited the Naudowessie (Dakota) and other Native American tribes, writing the Worm Moon refers to a different sort of “worm” beetle larvae that emerges from thawing bark of trees and other winter hideouts at this time. So fascinating! This Full Moon is also referred to as the Paschal Full Moon as it is the first full moon of spring occurring after the Spring Equinox. It also determines what day Easter falls on each year. This is why Easter is a flexible date as it is always celebrated the Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon.
We have the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries. Libra energy is all about diplomacy and fairness, the sign of harmony and relationships. We are encouraged to release anything negative from our relationships, let go of any upsets and move on. Balance what you give and what you receive.
