Spring Equinox
🌼Spring Equinox🌼
Sun Ceremony
Grab a cup of tea or cafecito and head outside to watch the sun rise. It’s a great way to soak in Vitamin D, boost your immune system, supports your nervous system and balances your circadian rhythm.
Admire the Signs of Spring
I love this time of year, noticing all the new life sprouting from the trees and flowers in my garden. I live in Texas so the weather is perfect this time of year. The kids play outside without it being too hot. They catch and release butterflies in the yard. I find myself paying attention to the songs of the birds and pecking of woodpeckers.
Planting Seeds
So many flowers, fruits and veggies to choose from! Whether it’s inside your home or out in your garden it’s a great time to start planting new seeds.
Spring Cleaning
I love spring cleaning! I mentally and physically feel clearer when I can clear space or declutter areas in my home. I have three kiddos so we collect a lot of things. I go room by room, closet by closet and drawer by drawer. Sometimes we find things to sell and the rest we donate.
Cleaning Altars
Tending to your altar is so important! Altars collect a lot of negative energy, especially if that is where you practice a lot of your healing. Regularly clearing this space can help keep the energy balanced. Clear out any used items; empty candles, used incense etc. Dust the shelf or table. If you like, change up your displayed items with the theme of the spring equinox.
Fire Ceremony
This ceremony can be done inside or outside of your home. If you don’t have a fireplace or outdoor fire pit you can carefully use a fire safe bowl. (Always have water nearby as a precaution) Write down any new intentions you have for this season. Make it as detailed as you wish. Take a moment to visualize everything manifesting, sense how it makes you feel. Imagine all of your intentions coming true. When you are ready, you can burn your list in the fire.
