The Science of Deliberate Creation

The Science of Deliberate Creation

I have been reading The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham by Esther & Jerry Hicks. If you haven't read the book, Abraham is Esther's spiritual guide whom she is able to channel and teaches her & her husband, Jerry, the Universal Laws; the Law of Attraction, the Science of Deliberate Creation & the Art of Allowing.

For the most part I feel the majority of people have at least heard of the Law of Attraction. It's the most powerful Law in the Universe that says: "That which is like unto itself, is drawn." Plainly, whatever you focus on, you will attract into your life.

Our thoughts have magnetic power, negative or positive thoughts result in negative or positive experiences. For instance if you are mentally focused on being sick or overweight, you may have a hard time attracting better health. If you constantly feel financially unstable you cannot attract financial freedom. When we have hateful tendencies we cannot be given a loving outcome. "Whatever you are giving-by way of vibrational offering-you are receiving."

Now the second Law is the Science of Deliberate Creation. This is new to me as I had never heard it before but found intriguing, it says: "That which I give thought to and that which I believe or expect-is." Which means we manifest our thoughts whether or not we truly want it.

So because The Law of Attraction is responding to our thoughts the key to the Science of Deliberate Creation is to work on deliberately focusing our thoughts. How do we do this? In short, positive thinking! When negativity sets in, change direction. Tenderly think about a positive outcome. Instead of focusing on the experience you do not want, focus on what it is you do want. Over time your thought patterns will automatically change. This isn't to say you need to monitor every single thought you have in a day. Simply pay attention to the way your thoughts make you feel. If you feel good, stay on course. If you feel bad you know you are off alignment and are miscreating in the moment by your thoughts, words or even your actions. When this happens take a moment to do the below exercise to help with this way of thinking.

Deliberate Creation Process Exercise

It's advised to do this for up to 20 minutes a day but personally I think you could possibly work it into just a few minutes if you are pressed for time or want to make it part of your daily routine. Take a moment without any distractions to envision your life, seeing yourself as you want to be seen, surrounded by whatever it is that makes you truly happy.

It is believed the things we contemplate will manifest in our life experiences. "Being more deliberate about what you want, more clear about what you intend, and more sensitive to the way you feel is, in essence, what the Deliberate Creative Process is all about."
