October's New Moon is in the sign of Scorpio. A New Moon is the beginning of a new lunar cycle when the moon is invisible in the evening sky. Scorpio is ruled by the 8th House of rebirth and transformation. This New Moon is also a Solar Eclipse which means the moon will pass in front of the Sun and partially block the view from earth. Solar Eclipses are known for amplifying the new moon. Intuitive callings around this time can intensify but if this eclipse hits your Sun, Moon or Rising Sign the energy can be even more powerful! Listen to any intuitions that may arise for self improvement. Scorpio is a passionate, imaginative and intuitive sign. 

As I mentioned, eclipses are very powerful and bring copious blessings on their own! Many believe in not doing ritual work or any type of magic during this time because eclipses can also be unpredictable, erratic or cause chaos. For many of us it’s a time to tune in and chillax.
