Ego vs Intuition
Ego vs Intuition
Do you know how to tell the difference between your ego or intuition?
According to The American Heritage Dictionary ego is the self, as distinct from all others, the part of the psyche that is conscious, controls thought and behavior, is most in touch with external reality but also holds a sense of exaggerating sense of self-importance.
Intuition is defined as a faculty of knowing as if by instinct without conscious reasoning. A sharp insight or impression.
I know the ego gets a bad wrap but I tend to look at it as an asset that tries to keep us safe. If we can distinguish the difference between our ego and intuition the balance can be very powerful. How can we tell the difference and how can we strengthen our intuition?
