Pendulum Readings

The first time I heard about using a pendulum was back in 2010 when I was pregnant with my eldest daughter. My husband and I are "old school" and didn't find out the genders of our kiddos. We loved the element of surprise and the fact that it drove everyone in the family crazy not knowing was just an added bonus! 🤭 I recall someone telling me about using a pendulum or necklace to predict the baby's gender but couldn't get a definite answer as to which way it should sway for which gender. I remember doing random surveys online, a Chinese gender chart, all gave me different answers. I don't think I would have put too much faith in getting the correct answer if I had tried a pendulum reading.

Anyway, fast forward a decade later. I was watching a Divination Tool video on how to read a pendulum. It is actually way easier than I thought! While holding the pendulum steady above the palm of your hand ask a yes or no question you know the answer to. For instance "Is my name Yvette?" Take note of the direction it's moving in so you know the yes or no answers to your questions. That's it! Super simple.

Fast forwarding another couple weeks. The kids and I took my brother who was in town from Chicago to our local crystal shop. I hadn't talked about pendulums and I wasn't shopping for one. But oddly enough my 7 year old found one and had to have it! When we got home I showed her how to use it and now it's her new favorite thing! My 10 year old gets slightly freaked out when she asks questions she knows the answers to and it answers correctly.

I guess there are a lot of pendulum charts out there that are very Ouija board-esque. Personally I don't mess with Ouija boards so I will just stick to my yes or no questiions. Have you done a pendulum reading? I'd love to hear about it!
