The first day of Fall is almost here! The Autumn Equinox falls on September 22nd. It is one of two days of the year when the days and nights are of equal length. (The other day being the Spring Equinox) Autumn is the season that reminds us how beautiful change can be. The trees begin to shed their leaves, teaching us acceptance of the cycle of life; growth, harvest, death & rebirth. For many it is a season of reflection. Whether you celebrate Mabon or Dia De Muertos the equinox carries a time for introspection and ceremony. The intentions we set during this time will remain with us throughout the winter and into the spring.    

Fall Equinox Ritual:

Light a candle and reflect on your harvests of the year, both spiritual and material. Give gratitude for all your prosperity and spiritual harvests you have received. Let go of anything that no longer serves you. Offer thanks for the lessons and blessings. Welcome a deep rest for your spirit, mind and body during the coming winter. Be open to clear guidance for planting new seeds for the future spring. Trust that the Universe has perfect timing and is working on your behalf, even if it is currently difficult to see it.
