Eclipse season is here! Eclipses are known for shaking things up and bring about chaos. This cosmic energy can feel intense and unpredictable but ultimately can lead to significant shifts in our lives. An eclipse occurs when one heavenly body such as a moon or planet moves into the shadow of another heavenly body. New Moons bring Solar Eclipses. This happens when the moon passes in front of the Sun and partially blocks the view from Earth. Full Moons bring Lunar Eclipses when the Moon passes through the Earth’s shadow. Here are some rituals to maneuver eclipse season:
Trust the Cosmos!
Eclipses in general are thought to bring change, transformation and growth.
Solar Eclipses are linked to new beginnings, positive energy, abundance, potent activation, personal growth, and introspection.
Lunar Eclipses can bring, in a sense, a means to an end or an uncovering of what no longer serves you while bringing intuitive activations.
Even if it feels chaotic trust that the Universe is making necessary adjustments to your life for the greater good.
Be open to change & fresh starts.
Remember every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.
Stay Grounded:
Meditate to seek inner guidance. We can receive clarity and guidance when we take the time to sit in silence and be present.
Immerse yourself in nature or a salt bath.
Read or journal or exercise to destress and relax your mind and body.
Energy Cleanse:
Cleanse your energy. Cleanse your aura, home or workspace using visualization, lighting a candle or using essential oils or smoke.
Avoid Spell Work or Manifestation Rituals:
Due to the unpredictable energy of an eclipse many of us will hold off on our new moon rituals or spells as to not cause unintentional consequences.
Charging crystals under an eclipse. Eclipse energy can be too intense and disrupt the natural balance of your crystals. Your crystals can be overstimulated with the chaotic energy associated with eclipse season.
